Industrial Heritage Parkway

The project to develop interpretive signs for the Industrial Heritage Parkway of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, was initiated by the county's Planning Department. The so-called "coastal zone" of Delaware County, including towns such as Chester, Marcus Hook, and Eddystone, encompasses some of the most historic sites in Pennsylvania. PD&HS developed 16 signs of three distinct sizes, as well as a template from which future signs can be designed. In addition to design, this work included research in local archives, writing and editing content, obtaining appropriate imagery, and creating custom graphics and maps.
